I saw a need to start Democracy Designs when I discovered that many people I knew were getting websites that weren’t adequate for today’s online environment. They weren’t being pointed in the right direction and many of them weren’t aware of the important features that make a website successful.
I’ve been a professional web/graphic designer since 1996. I’ve seen how the Internet has changed and how web design has developed over the years. I use that experience to your advantage and do my best to get you set up and moving in the right direction.
Without getting too technical, here’s the lowdown: the solutions I typically recommend utilize WordPress. On top of that, I like to use the Genesis framework that provides added functionality. I like this setup for a multitude of reasons, and I believe that in most cases, it will be a reliable solution for you.
I have three main packages and they all start with a basic template. From there I will customize the website’s “look and feel” as well as certain layout aspects. I will also give you some basic training and support to get you up to speed in using your new site.
I can also guarantee that my higher end packages (Vice-President and President) will compete in design and functionality with the top websites in your market. In fact, in most instances, you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you find your site to be ahead of the curve when it comes to remaining cutting edge in the areas of design and functionality.
In addition to providing you with great design, I also want to create a relationship with you that you can feel comfortable with. I want you to succeed in your business because it makes it more likely that you will want to use my services in the future. Hopefully that is something that makes sense to you.
